Hope all that sticks around, same with M.J.K. Pretty darn wild. And dreamy, as someone who loves barleywines.

 

I can’t describe strongly enough how good this bottle of Tête V16 is. Like best sour I’ve ever had good.

 

it’s the best of the Tetes for sure (with the only other close blend being OG Tete)

 

I got b1 and 15 above 16 personally, but they're all head and shoulders above most of their catalogue, for sure. I'm just glad I was fortunate enough to be in town to try them all the first of the only two times I ever visited.

I also wouldn't consider them "sours," especially by SP's standards. That word just conjures up so many other styles and lesser beers.

 

Fair warning to anyone heading to the brewery, I went for BBT pickup shortly after 1, and it was slammed. Maybe just a rush of proxies getting in early, but barely a place to stand out of the way while I was there.

Agree. That label is slapped on too many high quality mixed ferm beers for me. Disservice.

 

I am heading over tomorrow. What’s the right decision - Cellar or Brewery? Won’t arrive till mid afternoon. Only planning to be there about 60-90 min. Really want a pour of MJK and BBT.

Edit: I have done so much planning for T-Day this week, I almost typed “celery or brewery”.

 

It was pretty easy to get pours of both at both locations today. There was a line at the cellar at open, but it didn't last long. There wasn't one at all at the brewery around 3.

 

This is great to hear. Trying to not get my hopes up, but the excitement is building for MJK. Dying to try it since watching it as available each successive day this week.

 

The brewery was pretty quiet when we were there around 4 today. Grabbed an open table and there wasn't even a line at the bar when we went up. I hope MJK sticks around for you, definetly lived up to the hype

 

Anyone have a guess at the real ABV of MJK? Listed as 20%, but my understanding is they can mark it with the lowest ABV of any of the stouts blended into it.

 

Smuggle it out in an eye dropped and send it to Sun King.

 

Both spots have a solid crowd with a few empty seats. Very chill day with an excellent list.
