    This year was my first year of trying to bring appealing holiday-ish beers to my relatives' house for the holidays - so I'd have something to drink when I'm there (no beer drinkers - its all wine, all the time... ugh).

    Sierra Nevada's Celebration was spectacular. Alright, maybe that's too glowing, but it was great drinking and perfect for the season. Goose Island's Christmas Ale was a little disappointing. I found their 2011 more enjoyable.

    This weekend I'm testing out Southern Tier's 2Xmas...

    I have to make sure its good so if someone happens to want to try one, I know I'm representing well, y'know? Had one last night at straight room temperature, and had one a little while ago out of the fridge (and it warmed as I drank it)... finishing it now.

    Great beer. It's similar to SN's Celebration, but a little heavier on the flavors - which was great, but just a notable difference. Gotta replace the couple I drank and bring the sixer along Christmas Eve.

    I've only drank a few quads since they're super expensive but I liked it better than St. Bernadus Abt 12.

    I had one that was a bit over a year.. Still tasted great, not as hot, but the oak and everything was still up there.. Pretty damn good.
