Glad I refreshed @Shanex ...I was just getting ready to duplicate this

Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale and reheated skillet pizza, the newest and best-est way to reheat pizza I have found so far...I could not resist having a bite or two of the cold stuff, obviously.



But the results are excellent. Starting in a cold pan, like cooking duck breast, results in the best crisp on the crust and more thorough heating.

Good day BAs! Thanks @Shanex for starting today's thread! Hope everybody survived yesterday's gluttony fest - thanksgiving dinner is the one meal to have when you're having only one - I couldn't eat a second time yesterday! Fortunately the caffeine in Barq's root beer helped neutralize the turkey toxin so I was able to drive home for an hour in the rain and fog without falling asleep. Right now it's snowing and we have about 0.5 inches so far.

Wait a minute - the day after US Thanksgiving and the left-overs you're eating is ---- pizza? Good for you - I'd eat it, too, if I had some. With hot coffee in the AM for breakfast, tho', I prefer cold/room temp. l/o pizza (some garlic knots, too, if you got 'em).

But otherwise, yeah, the non-stick flying pan-heated pizza is how I go for other meals. You can even flip it over for faster heating - just pay very close attention.

 

I was 1 cup o coffee in already, and this pizza was leftover from Wednesday Yesterday....the turkey was, let's just say...dry. Niece's first attempt at a traveling turkey (cooked at her house, transported and re-heated at the venue). Not a perfect bird, but I appreciated it none the less at dinner. Just wasn't taking a leftover platter from it.

Yup. The flip almost got away from me there.

Well, 2020 is the year Goose Island jumped the shark for a few of their variants in their quest to keep up with the cool kids. Prop was a Rainbow Cone (Chicago peeps will know what I am talking about), and this one is used dark ground roast coffee with syrup poured on it.

First Black Friday since I started going after BCBS in 2014 I have zero plans to purchase any GI BCBS or any other of their offerings. This one reinforced the decision is wise.

Final two planned 1980 songs, unless I come back with something else later today, two of my favorites from the set last Saturday.

 

Happy Black Friday BA's - no shopping for me, but already did the # OptOutside thing, and took Emma for a chilly windy snowy walk already....going to meet a friend near downtown Akron for a beer at R. Shea's Brewery in a bit....
