Having some Moonlit by New Trail

 

Greeting from WNC BA's. A gorgeous sunny 60-degree day!
Just had my booster this morning @SABERG and celebrating with a GI BCBS 2021 edition which i unfortunately missed the tasting thread over the weekend. Drinking very nicely, and as i described to a friend and compadre in our neighborhood tasting group "The bourbon barrel is subtly melded in with the base stout beer emitting notes of vanilla, bourbon, oak, and leather on the pallet that warms the inside passageway!"



Da Boss has been cranking out her Amazon music and just heard an oldie but goodie from The Charlie Daniels Band. With all the political shenanigans with the past election, especially residing in Arizona thru March 2021, was very exasperating for me so i wrote a parody of the Devil Went Down to Georgia not much after the election of 2020. However, to keep it beer friendly i will refrain from joking around on this subject on our happy beer page!

Temperance Gatecrasher English IPA.

 

Trying something a little different. This is Brown Thrasher Honey Pecan Brown Ale (5.4% ABV) from Pretoria Fields Collective in Albany, GA. This is an awesome brewery that uses mostly local grown ingredients where possible. Their Walker Station Stout is my favorite straight ahead stout and I use it in my chilli recipe. Very tasty and light bodied. A seasonal beer usually released in late November. Not a big fan of brown ale, but this is worth buying when it comes out.

It's been a little while since I've had Scrimshaw too, but that is such a nice drinking beer. I enjoy it every time I've had it. The only reason I don't drink it more often is I have some local choices that are just as good. But that's a good one! Cheers!
