That guy was a borderline troll and was getting belligerent in the comments (about a dozen of which he deleted because he didn’t like being called out). I’d guess it didn’t actually close and he was just trying to artificially devalue Samuel because he was mad he got laughed at.
100% agree. It’s never a good sign when people delete comments, get 60+ laugh reacts, and then lock the thread saying it’s closed.

Based on what I've heard, they're releasing 200 bottles per day split between the three days this week. It sold instantly yesterday because everyone was trying for it. I don't think value will "tank" here and it'll probably be just like past Samuels, but that's just my guess.
