Good day BAs! Thanks @DoctorZombies for starting today's thread! A month-long road trip huh? Don't think I could do that anymore - after two weeks I'm itching and three weeks twitching to get home. I miss my STUFF. Particularly my beer reefer and its variety. Speaking of which, today's New Breakfast Beer is from the overflow reefer I borrowed from my son to hold the tonne of brews @Roy_Hobbs blessed me with in NBS BIF #14:



A really pleasing porter which infringes on stout territory - very malty and roasty with just a hint of smoke. Rating 3.99, rDev +5.6%. Thanks Ross!

Very fruity with a decent bitterness at the end. Nice mouthfeel and very easy drinking!
Overall a liitle bit harmless compared to the other WCIPAs I've had before.

Also from yesterday @sportscrazed2 , I am not aware of any fireside bars/breweries here, though did enjoy Mother Load Brewing's (Flagstaff, AZ) firepit in their patio section in March 2020.

No firepit for me, but enjoying a nice December day in Chicago.

Good day Advocates! Thanks again @DoctorZombies for opening todays thread here. Last nite was a drag. However my morning work is done and Goldie & STP are back in town. Both trucks are jimmy jammin' down the road. Just need to put on snow tires and change the oil in STP. Tires 1st that way there's about 3 more inches of clearance to creep under it. But FIRST a beer. Celebration!!

Bought this on a "pub crawl" with my "broil's" Saturday night, a nice Russian Imperial Stout from a local. Tasty? Absolutely!
