Southern Skies is a treat. To say that the mouthfeel is soft would be a complete understatement--it's like drinking a cloud.

It's the closest you'll get to that Foam collab, Mouthful of Diamonds. I hope they rebrew that one soon.

also digging this one. Never had mouthful of diamonds but remember people loving it.

Nelson can be a bit overpowering sometimes (and I am a big Nelson fan) but this hop bill gives that strong flavor a little more depth.

Photo is from Sept 14, 2015. Can’t believe that was more than 6 years ago.

Green diamonds and AGE were a similar brownish color back in ze day, and the citra and nelson single hop cans were a hot commodity

The pre-DDH AGE was almost a totally different beer. I'd definitely like to see that make a return someday.

Its wild if some hype brewery put out a beer that color now, even if it tasted liked the best haze bomb beer ever, people would have nothing but negative things to say because it didn't look like orange juice.

Was at Domino Park yesterday with a buddy. Had a few sips of DDH Green City and Cheddar FU and both were very high quality....Just had a can of Moteuka + Galaxy that was outstanding as well. Some great options at Domino Park.

I had a pour of Green City at a bar in Hell's Kitchen before a concert at Terminal 5 in October and it was insanely good. Not sure if it was DDH or not but one of the best batches I had in a long time

Here in CA, Pliny, Blind Pig, and Kern River Citra all look like that and they seem to still be selling very well and not a lot of criticism.

True, the first beer that marked the "new era" of OH was the trillium collab street green. I was in the taproom the day before the release and it didn't look like anything else they had released before.

Not to derail the thread, but I’ve been absolutely loving the shit out of Second Fiddle lately. It would probably be described as “old school” now I think.

Feel like this is more of an east coast problem than a West Coast problem. Like our disease may have come to the West Coast, but they've always had and appreciated their gems.

Agree with consensus on recent OH beers brewed in BK. Cheddar Fu and Galaxy/Mo are as good as anything I’ve had from them in a long time. Is OH back!?
