Actually, with available credit and debit cards, you can hold currency in your hand but don't really need to. Credit/debit cards are accepted much more readily than crypto. Currency is a relatively stable reference value. Some geniuses think substituting extremely volatile cryptocurrencies for money is a good idea. Just think about what happens when you take out a car loan in crypto, but the crypto value jumps from 1-automobile-worth to 10-automobile-worth overnight, just after you signed the loan docs.

 

NFTs are a frivolous rich person's game....I'd rather invest in the 7 B's
