I know the big guys in NE, looking to see if there are any smaller breweries putting out Saisons/farmhouse style that might be flying under the radar - say within an hour of Boston.

for example: any feedback on Buttonwoods in RI?

    thanks!!

Amory's Tomb in Maynard MA is doing all kinds of great saisons.
I haven't been there in a few months, but I have been very impressed with a bunch of their beers.

I'll throw in another vote for Armory's Tomb. Lots of great saison options both in cans and bottles. I like their Saison I Classic. I wish they distributed to a shop near me in Somerville.

I've only had a few beers from Buttonwoods but enjoyed the bottled saisons I was able to sample including "Harness Time" (dry, aromatic, bitter) and "Dream of Flowers" (funky and fruity)

Another vote for Amory's Tomb, but don't miss Honest Weight in Orange either. Love the Silvaticus lagers but the saisons are one note for me, YMMV though.
