Don't they usually drop Toast access beers on Sunday when the previous Toast selection goes to Eventbrite?

 

Actually per their website, local sales via Toast start Saturday, Nov. 27

 

I mean they list most upcoming releases on the calendar on their website.
Red Eye November tomorrow. Scatter Signal on the 27th.
But if your taking bets, ignore my comment...
I'll wager you a bottle it does not release tomorrow.

 

Cracked open some vintages of Picture If You Will recently, including an OG 2015 bottle, and it's a beer I continue to miss. Just an absolutely perfect pumpkin beer that doesn't overwhelm the senses.

 

I haven’t looked on their website for ages, beyond obviously the Toast to-go page. Had no idea they put bottle releases on the calendar like that.

 

They haven’t bottled it in a bit, but if my memory serves correctly they put out a really small batch of it last year for pours and crowler fills at the tasting room.

 

I have a 2019 that I'm looking to unload if you are looking.

 

Friendly reminder - Mass Action is so damn good. Some sweetness, but good barrel. So, so good.

 

Any thoughts out there on the new batch of Scatter Signal? I'm hearing that it is really good, but not as marshmallow prominent as the 2020 batch.

 

Tried a bottle of Current War. First time I had it. Didn’t know what to expect.

I was pleasantly surprised. I think the Violet produced a really good nose and the Black Currants gave it a big berry flavor.

 

Woof. Just saw this. Is Somniphobia still on shelves in LA, or what's the story with this release? Have a friend out there right now who could possibly mule me a bottle. Love plain BA stouts with coffee.

Not to familiar with Bottle Logic either. Sorry if I'm inquiring about a specialty bottle. Did pick up Arcane Rituals and Dark Rituals while in LA. Eager to try both. After some talk in this thread, it has me wondering if I should try them side-by-side.

 

Would be a boss move.

 

I don't get these chances much, may as well earn some BA clout, right?

But I really am curious how they compare. Don't think I've ever done a side-by-side of a base beer vs. it's cuvee version. I've done base vs. flavor additive, but never the former.

 

I don't care for bottle logic. Only got these for trade ammo. Based on fact that these sold out in an hour when i got them its surprising they're still around a shelf.
Get one if you like BL stouts for sure

I have only had one BL stout, and it was on draft. The two bottles I brought back will be all else I'd try unless my friend can find Somniphobia. I'm not big on flavor additives, hence why I didn't haul back home many other bottles. Everything else I saw with coffee had some other flavor(s) with it.

 

Haven’t tried it yet, but trying to wrap my head around why they’d put a stout in ORVW barrels and then adjunct it. Would’ve preferred non-adjunct in this case.

 

I can only imagine results were not as promising as originally expected, as is often the case with specialty barrels.
