Welcome to BA! Utopias go for msrp and sometimes a little higher. So if you got one at Costco or with some special coupon you could get a good bottle 1:1 or several smaller bottles 3:1 2:1 for your utopia. What were you looking for?

 

FT Tete v19 ... not sure of the value of that beer either these days.

 

In a vacuum those two aren't too far off, but you have the compounding factors of (1) people with Tete who may not value it as highly because it was simply in the BBT pack and (2) trading sours for stouts... both of which lead me to say that I wish you the best of luck but you might need a plus in the realm of like a 4pack of hops in landing a BM.

edit: And while my "PA" tag might look like bias, I'm typically trying to trade for those bottles from the western end of the state, and am holding a Tete, so if anything my bias would be in the opposite direction.

 

I appreciate the feedback. I wouldn't mind adding, simply for the fact that I want to try the Wild Turkey BM.

Ya, WT BM is definitely not 200-250. I don't think any of the new Voodoo beers will ever get to that level again. I'm seeing 100-130 on FB, and will probably settle around 70-100 like most BM nowadays.

 

Depends on batch but anywhere from 45ish - 75ish I’d say

I actually find the opposite; I've found HOMES stouts trade much better out of state. With the proxying, and public allocations, everyone seems to have access to at least a bottle or two. I also find that Michigan has a way of devaluing its own product rather quickly with the instant flipping on social media.

Plus, not all of their stouts are equal; The Doozies, Birkins, and even Permanent Homes seem to be much more popular than other releases (I.E. Hypersurface and Quad Scoop). I think they're producing some really solid stuff. You just need the right set of eyes.

 

I should have made it more clear. I was speaking in regards to the bottles he was offering ft and in regards to this site in particular. I found it highly unlikely he was gonna land his ISO’s with those bottles. There was no need to even mention a Birkin which is obviously higher because he didn’t mention one FT. If he can close what he wants with what he has, then by all means.

 

Gotcha. I misread it as more of a blanket statement. I agree with you in regards to those particular bottles.

 

So, go ahead, tell me the secondary of Samuel will remain astronomically high despite the fact they are now going to ship it statewide...

HF had a package for shipping to PA and now have one coming up for VT shipping on Monday. A 6 bottle shipper for 120.

 

Some of the razz’s were high to begin with but value seems to be dropping, slowly albeit. With this new “drop” it may push it down even further.
