This is the end. Reminds me of a Doors song. Don’t go there Mike! Ok, I will not post the song but if someone else does do not blame me.

Asteroids. A DIPA brewed by Final Gravity.

[IMG] Tonight's Blind Battle Beer Tasting Lineup: (All 3 out of 3 pairs correctly matched blind)

    1) Blue Moon Belgian White (5.4%):
A Belgian Wheat beer from Colorado with flavors of navel orange and orange peel with white Belgian spices.
    versus
    2) Bells' Rind Over Matter (5.0%): A citrus and summery wheat beer from Michigan that has lemon and orange zest flavors

    3) Sierra Nevada’s Oktoberfest 2021 (5.5%): An amber Marzen style from California with flavors of orange, pine soap, and caramel malts with a toasty bread malt finish.
    versus
    4) Sierra Nevada’s Celebration (6.8%): A Fresh-hop holiday IPA from California that has flavors of red grapefruit citrus with spicy pine and caramel malts.

    5) Three Floyd’s Foggy Geezer IPA (6.8%): A juicy and resinous hazy IPA from Indiana with orange, peach, strawberry and tropical fruit flavors.
    versus
    6) Stone Vengeful Spirit (7.3%): A tropical IPA from California that is brewed with Pineapple and Mandarin orange for juicy and tropical flavors. Creamy and smooth.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Winners:

    1) Blue Moon Belgian White:
This one is smoother with less abrasive citrus and a creamy orange and vanilla finish. Always a nice drinking beer. Bells had a cleaning aftertaste.

    3) Sierra Nevada's Oktoberfest 2021:
This one has grown one me. A lot more orange when it's fresh. Now a few months older, a nice appreciable toasty malt body.

    6) Stone Vengeful Spirit:
This one has strong flavors of creamy pineapple and mango. Flavorful, yet creamy. Incredible mouthfeel.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What did you think of SN Oktoberfest 2021 and SN Celebration 2021 this year? Which did you prefer?
Have you tried Stone Vengeful Spirit and what did you think? Did you find it particularly creamy and smooth?

Enjoying a modest slice of West Coast heaven with my wife right now in downtown Philly at the famous Monk's Cafe. It's been YEARS since having a Pliny and it's every bit as good as I remember it to be! This is a rare treat!

Well, I vote Stone primarily because the brewery is just down the road from me. I have to admit though I have not had the beer but I do now plan to try it.

    Thanks!

MC2 from EQ. When it's on, it's on. I've only ever had one off-batch, as I recall. Much love.

I have had the beer. I cannot remember if it was from a trade or the brewery shipped it. Anyway, I thought it was really good and definitely one I plan to get again.

The song is appropriate. After three or four brews I graduate to bourbon (if I am lucky) but usually wine. Sad but yours truly has knocked over too many glasses of wine. Broken glass and the whole bit. A lesson learned from granddaughter is why not drink your wine from plastic glasses. And that is what I do now. Cleaning spilled wine is no big deal. Shattered glass is a whole different dimension.

The song speaks way beyond my wine difficulties.
