I mention YOB because as a three piece they are amazing! Also this Wine from Tears reminded me of Dusk..(from Wisconsin)

And I can find some rare underground bands from you state too!

Quite good. I've always enjoyed this beer. It's one of the few smoke beers I can enjoy on its own. Others I like to have with food.

Trappist night is over, now I'm drinking this lips of faith imperial coffee chocolate stout. Kinda reminds me of victory at sea, but not quite as aggressive- good stuff!

Tastes like a smoked ham cooked over a campfire fueled by smoked hams. Not for everyone, but I LOVE it. It's like liquid smoked pork. Bacon in a bottle

Hey Holy, Black Damnation is produced by one of the best "new generation" Belgian breweries called De Struise. It's from Flanders area (north of Belgium). It's based in a city called Oostvleteren, which is east of Westvleteren . AFAIK, you Americans, buy a lot from them. So, I suggest you to look for the Pannepot, IMHO, their best beer... A just perfect QUAD!
    Cheers!

Dinner with friends last night and we shared a good haul, mostly provided by me. We had:

    Lagunitas IPA
    Breckenridge Vanilla Porter
Samuel Smith Organic Chocolate Stout (first time, chocolate goodness!)
    Rising Tide Tempest Coffee Porter
Founders Breakfast Stout (also first time I have had, found it at a wine store of all places!)
    Stone Vertical 12-12-12
And finally, a 2011 Troeg's Mad Elf that I had saved from last year.
