I missed it on first read but email said it's delayed a bit.

Yeah, I would think any lost recipes would be around 2011-13 when they started making so many different beers. Patrick seems like the kind of guy to not lose those early recipes.

Did anyone catch details on the Archive sale? The reserve email said "Keep reading to learn all about the new beers, plus our 12 Days of Archives Sale." I kept reading but didn't see anything about the sale? ha

Someone talk to me about Thr3e! How is it? Is it on par with Melange 3? Better/worse/different? I'm cautiously optimistic and needing to decide between spending some money vs spending lots of money and maxing out. Cheers!

100% agree that regular was my favorite, just behind BA 4 Calling Birds. I just opened one of each this past Sunday. Drinking sooooooo nice

Opened mine this past weekend… ZERO Oxidation and All Awesomeness! So good, but so complex… I couldn’t finish it… but capped it, and opened a triple IPA to lighten my palate (hahaha!)

I'm not finding anything on it, but has any sort of member welcome weekend thing been announced for January?

Oh boy, the new BT Grand Reserve is amazing. My favorite of the GR's so far. It is super chocolaty, awesome body that's not heavy but definitely more chewy than thin BT of the past. Brandy adds a nice kick without overwhelming.

Oh. Apparently the 12 Days sale started today. Looks like they're back to doing daily releases this year rather than one big drop.

What’s everyone hoping to see in the sale?

Hmm... Everything I can think of from this year and last has shown up often enough that I'm good. Other than Maple BT, but I think we've all written that one off as gone forever.

Bierbara would be good. Cherry White Chocolate would be a nice surprise. Probably some Poached Fig if that showed up. A secret stash of Autumn Maple perhaps...

Seems like the DC store has a few bottles of 5.0 left if you want to take a road trip ha.

Original BA 4 Calling Birds. I opened the last bottle I had recently and the top half of the bottle essentially shattered. I threw it away because I didn't trust the small shards of glass that could've been in the beer.

Drinking a 7 Swans and it's great. I wouldn't pay the premium they're likely to charge for it in the sale, but if you were to splurge you would at least get a tasty quad.

Thr3e is really good. Better than the 2015 & 2017 M3 vintages for sure. Rich body, and very flavorful. BT and Ani both pop and the blend works well.

My one reservation is that it's very sweet and on the cloying side. Carbonation is pretty low. I'm still inclined to grab some to tuck away though. This and GR were a nice cap to a solid year!

Time to reflect, let's see your top five new Bruery releases from this year!

    1. Portified
    2. TIE BT GR, Reserve, Sherry, Cognac
    3. BirneSnap
    4. Chaucer's Chalice
    5. Creme Bruelay

My #2 is kinda a cop-out, but my point is that their BT barrel treatments overall were the highlight. I didn't love all of them, but it's an area they're crushing and I'm excited to see continue.

My last month in the society sadly, just don’t see myself having enough money to spend in 2022 to justify the entry fee :slight_frown: that being said, capping the year with a barleywine is just a treat for me! Really solid month. Also vanilla villain being in the 12 days sale is such a tease, definitely the hoarder beer I wish I had a bottle of the most, absolutely incredible

    1. Melange Noir
    2. One & Dunn
    3. Where is the lava?
    4. 24k Tuesday
    5. Sticky Nanners Flapjack Stout

I haven’t had Thr3e yet but I suspect that will find its way up there
