    Good morning all advocates and TGIF. We’re almost through!

    It’s been six years today since I joined BA, it’s been and still is an interesting ride. Not gonna say I started my career being totally “clueless” but I learned a lot and still do everyday reading this community. Since I post in this very thread often, I can tell I don’t only learn about beers, breweries but sometimes life lessons, in the positive sense of the term.

    Good day BAs! Thanks @Shanex for starting today's thread - and happy sixth BA anniverary!

    Today's New Breakfast Beer is my second from Tired Hands, both from NBS BIF #14 and @Roy_Hobbs:

    Very clean saison, little funk and little flavor. Rating 3.44, rDev -18.9%. Guess the Tired Hands brewers' take on farmhouse ales just don't fit my tastebuds. As I said, these were my first two of any style from Tired Hands - maybe their IPAs will be more to my liking.

    Happy early TGIF! Well folks, I rarely drink this early in the morning, even on vacation. But I went to move some crowlers from a wine chiller where I usually store them to my fridge for later today and, as "luck" would have it, one had leaked. What to do? Well, I had to pop that puppy open to check it out! It still had some carbonation in it, but it is obviously a little flat at this point. One of my favorite beers from my neighborhood brewery. NoFo Brew Co Yonah Live One Vienna Lager (4.7% ABV). Named after Yonah Mt. in N. GA. Disappointing. I'll have to get more before they runout! Be back later. Cheers!

    Happy BA anniversary @Shanex! Seems most of us using BA these days are more old school, I guess, versus just Untappd users. Am I the only one who still really prefers BA to Untappd? I use both and the Untappd app is certainly more convenient. But I like BA's rating system and, especially, this WBAYDN forum interaction best. Just thinking out loud. Cheers all!

    Thanks, and I am of the same mindset and don’t use Untappd much anymore for some reasons. Cool and fancy features but that’s it.

    I just like the forum format better, I don’t have much of a problem with this app, and it’s certainly useful and helpful to many, but I’m just happy here.

    The one thing I like about Untappd is it is well connected with the bottle shops in my area, so I can get alerts when beers I'm looking for are placed in inventory. I also like being able to see what's on tap at local breweries. But for rating beers and making tasting notes, can't beat BA. And this forum is a nice way to connect to people outside my area. Thanks BA & @Todd btw!

    I'm probably violating some unwritten rule about trying too many different styles in one afternoon, but that's how I roll sometimes! Here are three beers I'll be getting to this afternoon. The Ommegang Three Philosophers and Highlands Cold Mt. I have never had before. The Anchor Steam has some nostalgia I'll try to remember to note for those that may have similar beer nostalgia. Cheers!
