Sheesh if I could find it for $12/4pk I'd have more of it than I know what to do with

Definitely a cornerstone but I’m pressed to think it’s meant more to their notoriety than CBS.

I see KBS 4 pack variants everywhere but haven’t seen CBS anywhere for at least a year or more in the small bottle format. Big bottles from 2017 started at $32 and lowest I’ve seen them at is $24-$26 range I believe.

Grabbed a 4 pack of 2019 last week for $22. It was awesome! I enjoyed it more then the 2021 BCBS I had a few days prior. Gonna go back and grab another for the holidays.

$12.29 per bottle in Casper. That too much for you?

I am unwilling to pay 25 bucks a four-pack so.....

    The new math!?! :flushed:

    Cheers!

They were going for $22.00 a 4 pack in Omaha when they released the beer in 2019. I stocked up and purchased 2 cases. I Still have a decent amount left- plus several bombers of the 2018 and 1 left of the 2017. I also spend a small mint every year buying Bourbon County and the variants.. Having said this, I appreciate people’s price point perspective and in the end- purchase what you feel best about in conjunction with what you like..and enjoy superior craft beer.

I feel that way aboot KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa. Runs aboot $25 a 4pack. Probably a delicious beer but I may not bite.

I don't see CBS anywhere in Chicago anymore.

I'm not upset or anything, just anecdotal evidence that's it's not collecting dust EVERYWHERE...

I sure hope so. If not, Founders will do something great those Barrels either way

If i saw Single bottles for sale I'd buy one if it was priced around ~5 but what I see at the stores i frequent are 25 dollar bombers and i dont want that much.
A month or so ago i did buy a 4 pack of Maple Mackinac Fudge and enjoyed it, buy i also wouldn't want a bomber of that as it starts becoming too sweet.

CBS is perfect in a 12oz serving .

    It's a good beer.

Funny to me that some people will groan about paying $25 for a 4-pack of CBS, but won’t bat an eye at paying $25-30 for a single 16 oz. bottle of some nonsense from the latest hype brewery.

Hit the nail on the head my friend. CBS (to me at least) is a pretty good value for that price

I think when you consider the price of other barrel aged stuff I agree 100%.

There are some bargain outliers like willetized (if my memory serves correct) and I also saw four roses black ops for 17-18$ a four pack of pints…maybe there is more but those are the only that come to mind.

And I look forward to when this beer gets releases; it is an excellent beer for my palate. I still have one bottle left from the last release. Maybe I will drink that beer tomorrow while watching football.
I just bought this four-pack at my local Wegmans supermarket for 14 bucks. I have not had one yet; I will discuss this beer in an upcoming NBW thread.

    Cheers!

P.S. The Brooklyn Black Ops beer 'reminded' me that I have yet to drink Four Roses Bourbon so just a couple of days ago I bought a bottle of Small Batch Four Roses Bourbon and it is quite tasty!!

I need to look for that black ops. BA narwhal is another great option at around $20/4 pints.

If it was up to me Founders would quit making KBS, its variants, and CBS, I'd much prefer to see FIS and a barrel aged version.

Yeah for sure. Boulevard’s new Magic Drip is a great value too for like $13 a 4pk
