I had to laugh at the email I got at 4:42 pm on the winter solstice announcing this.

Didn’t appear so. In the email they just mentioned some of the beers in general that will be released in 2021.

Ha! I looked around a couple of days ago and couldn't find anything, not surprised by the lack of party or communication.

Yeah, I had to laugh. Their Solstice party would normally be the Saturday on or before Solstice. So it would’ve been on 12/19. So Saturday 12/19 comes and goes, then on Monday they announce “sorry everyone, no party or release this year.” Hilarious.

Ha, yes. Classic Kuhnhenn. At least sounds like we're gonna get some good drops pretty soon.

Here you go.....this info is WAY far in advance for the Kuhnhenn Bros but an email went out today:
    Kuhnhenn Solstice 2021- Huzzah!

After taking a hiatus from last year’s Winter Solstice, Kuhnhenn Brewing is once again celebrating with all of you! Come celebrate 18 years of Winter Solstice cheer with vintage taps, limited beer releases, wassailing, and a special food menu.

Kuhnhenn Winter Solstice beer release pre-orders go live Saturday, December 18th at www.kbrewery.com. Presales will end on December 20th at noon.

COVID-19 has been taxing in many ways on all of us. To help with social distancing and minimize the spread of COVID-19, we will be giving a large flex window of pick-up time on your beers until spring. We will allow proxies but only with a valid printed receipt to pick up your order.

The Solstice party is Tuesday, Dec. 21, with special vintage draft beer releases at Warren & Clinton Township, Michigan.

Wassail toasting begins at dusk (about 5:30pm) to ring in the solstice cheer, which commences once every hour at both locations

We will keep the vintage beers on tap at both locations through to the new year of 2022

The Pre order pick up at the Clinton location starts on December 21st at noon

    Solstice Day Releases:

    - Bourbon barrel-aged Eisbock(12 months aged Chattanooga Whiskey barrel)

    - Bourbon barrel-aged 4th Dementia (2 years aged Heaven Hill)

    - Himalayan Salted Caramel Barrel Aged 4th Dementia (2 years aged Heaven Hill)

    - Raspberry Eisbock (COVID-19 Brett. variant)

    - 2018 Solar Eclipse

    - Crème Brulee Java Stout (cans)

    - DRIPA (cans)

    - White Devil (cans)

    - Kuhnhenn Ceramic Steins

    - Kuhnhenn men’s and women’s t-shirts (available at pickup)

A brett raspberry eisbock? I'm sure that was planned

I am excited for the 2 year aged BB4D, however, I am a little skeptical they just kept it in the barrel for an extra year so they didn't have to bottle it last year. I hope it was intentional

Sigh. Just not the same. Miss the days of 2012 (Damn, 9 years already??) when you had to wait in line before they opened to fill out your order sheet (a la old school 4Elf). Huge bottle list that year, like 12+. BA4D, BBBW, BA Solar. Place was packed that night too.

    All Hail Wassail!

Himalayan just sold out. Pretty surprised! Must be some demand. Good amount of regular BA4D left though.

I saw that. Sounded gross, and reviews were meh - but huge demand … I’m clearly in the minority given how it sold. And I didn’t buy any, so now have FOMO - hahahaha
