I stand corrected, I automatically assumed that Samuel was part of that. Sorry about that :beers:

As long as we all can agree to disagree.

LOL! See how easy that was? Obviously, I completely agree with everything you said above.

That sounds like plenty on the BCBS/Huns side, purely in terms of value BCBS Blanton’s and BAA are just about even, but I assume those with BAA didn’t have *too* much trouble getting BCBS… might be warranted to ask for a plus from the BAA, I think.

Agree with this. I feel like the trading value of BAA has dropped just a bit over the past few years (based on what I recently traded a bottle for). BCBS Blanton's with a bottle of 2021bourbon huna for BBA sounds like overkill to me. I would think that kind of offer would close likety split.

“Just a bit” is an understatement, it’s dropped to well less than half of what previous batches were… a part of me would feel just a little bad “killing trade value” or diminishing someone’s expectations with most beers, but I’ve been very unimpressed with the BAA I’ve tried, personally.

Could a Weller CYPB pull multiple West Ashley Cuvées?

“Multiple” is pretty general…but in short…yes

Thanks. The bottle kinda fell in my lap today. I wasn’t interested in a 1:1 but is 3 too much? Maybe 2 and a plus? I have zero idea of any secondary.

Honestly 2+ Definitely reasonable. If I still had some I would definitely have done this . Good luck

If you really want WA cuvée, then yes 2-3 is definitely doable. Personally I’d go after a much bigger bottle then WA cuvée as that CYPB is pretty valuable. But If several Cuvée is what you want then by all means get it!

I know it's early but has anyone seen the new Fremont Aurelius move. I love Fremont, barleywines and small format bottles so I'm dying to get some. Would it be 1:1 with some of the new Black Magicks or would one side add something?

I saw that @BourbonForBeer posted a trade (magic lambik for Starry Noche 21, he’s on the starry side), and I wanted to ask a question about this. Figured this was preferred to the thread for a wide variety of reasons.

Did Magic suddenly plummet in value? This seems so far off from even my limited knowledge of the current trade market that it doesn’t seem even in the same universe. Isn’t Starry 21 close to a $4$ type trade, whereas Magic would be much closer to…like BBT 21?

Starry 21’ is around 100 ish in value... I’m definitely offering a plus.

BBT is 300 ish in value.

Magic Lambic is 150 ish in value.

Im just basing my info off of what I see currently on FB groups. As I mentioned I will add a plus on my side, it’s not a 1:1 offer.

Magic has certainly dropped considerably then from what I remember. Appreciate the info.

Starry seems so easy to come by, it seems like you would need a better anchor even if these values are right, and you end up offering a comparable secondary:secondary offer. Just my personal opinion, but seems silly to trade a Magic for starry when you can use a Magic to get something way more interesting, when everyone seems to want to trade away their starry.

    Good Luck.

I’m doing my best to be apart of this site vs closing offering on FB effortlessly with other trade options... If that makes sense. B4B...

*Trying to do Beer for Beer and be apart of this site really, I enjoy BA...

I'm jealous of your ability to actually land bourbon to be able to get beer. (Unless you meant that the other way around.) It's dry out there!
