[IMG]So many of you know, but 2021 I saw my family business of 30 years close because of Doctors egos and greed. That was a big low as my older sister, older brother and myself had to scramble to find new careers. We all landed on our feet, but are working more hours than we ever have in our new jobs. I coached my son’s team to 4th in the State in Cal Ripken, another high. My wife and I bought a new house that we absolutely love. Why I am up at 5:00 am on a Saturday? My new internal clock sadly, I love when it shuts off like last Sunday and I can stay in bed until 7. This morning I am sipping some Treehouse Jingle Juice and not loving it like I normally do, maybe a little cat pee and pine, but still pretty tasty some how. Cheers all.

[IMG] Blue Jolly Ranchers, coconut, and pineapple fairly sour, but the coconut helped keep it in check. Snow is imminent.

Good day BAs! Thanks to @SawDog505 for starting this thread - I hope 2022 pro es to e a better year for you and yours! Today is starting off in the style of Bulwer-Lytton (insert your favorite "dark and stormy" quote here) with little hope for the rest of the day. Today's New Breakfast Beer is much more hopeful:

Another excellent B.O.R.I.S. variant from Hoppin' Frog - thanks to the HF Rare Beer Club! Rating 4.21, rDev +21%!

And for those of you who still work,

With added pine and spruce shoots this really smells (and tastes) like a forest.

Ok, how about a fake coffe drink with my real coffee drink this AM.

Checked the reminder of last year’s cans that turned out all to be infected. Oh, well, that was expected. The GF has been luckier this year, the few packs she has purchased meet basic quality standards.

Bacon in the oven as I ponder which style to dive into next over in the tasting event thread.

Good day Advocates! Great to be here. Thanks @SawDog505 for opening todays thread. A little nippy here this morn at 17F and wind chill at 6F. Clearing our driveway after a couple inches of light fluffy snow and back in the warming hut for a scoop of Leine's Toasted Bock. My fingers got cold. Sending y'all a big Arctic WOOF! Looking frwd to more beers throughout the day. Gettin' out there & enjoying some fresh air! Cheers!

Blenko in the background. I’m off to a distillery opening party with a 30’s post prohibition theme, appropriately attired…should be fun. Cheers from Huntington WV!

My last bottle of Everything Nice...
Didn't see it at Total Wine today, but I didn't look too hard - I wanted to mix it up...
I'm so ridiculously enamored of the Vanilla KBS, but Nocturna is a legit competitor in the bourbon barrel-aged imperial vanilla stout set - so went back for more of that instead... Enjoyed canned St Bernardus despite the shocking appearance - some beers just seem odd in cans initially (then ya drink 'em lol) - and also grabbed some more Winter (red) IPA...

Really diggin' this Danish death metal band...

    Cheers...
