I don't know one DG from another, I last traded 5 years ago so I don't know what's what. If you are looking to make a fair trade that send me a fair exchange for the 3 listed.

It's very odd to me that I've been quite open with the 3 beers I have FT, yet everyone reaching out to me wants to 1) not make a corresponding fair offer and then 2) act like I'm the one acting in an underhanded way.

Thank you for reminding me why I stopped trading.

    Posts an auction
Gets mad when people don't give him as much as he wants
    ?????
Just list a ratio of what you think is fair per bottle that will save you time. If youre under, people will tell you. If youre over, the crickets will tell you that

I have no idea what is fair. What's fair? It's a simple question that no one wants to answer.

    2-3 for first 2
    3-4 for baie if its 2021 375
All depends on year and size
Subtract 1 if they offer something like broken truck

You’re iso “de Garde quantity and variety” then say “I don't know one DG from another, I last traded 5 years ago so I don't know what's what. If you are looking to make a fair trade that send me a fair exchange for the 3 listed.”

If you don’t know de garde, do some research of their beers and see if any catch your eye as interesting. Maybe you come up with a few or more and now you have your quantity and variety that you are iso.

You keep saying no one is being fair, but also say you don’t know what fair is. What’s fair to you for this trade, your trade, can you answer it?

You have to put in some effort, don’t blame others. If you’ve been out of the game a bit, you have to come in with a better attitude. Try to put together a post that is more specific so it limits the number replies that are upsetting to you.

Sure, a vague iso can get the most eyes and replies, but it’s probably not going to get you the trade you want.

    Good luck.

Thank you for the honest input.

You make a good point. I wanted to pop back in for a trade without going through the whole process of updating my understanding of the trading market. My bad. I'm out.

lmao I already answered this guy specifically with potentially-reasonable ratios earlier (in a post where he complained about auctions) and he chose to ignore it and just post an auction instead?… weird.

edit: even if an “auction” wasn’t the goal (it probably wasn’t) it’s still bad form to post something so open-ended and then complain about people asking you to clarify in PM imo.

fair, in the context of a trade, is all relative. if both sides are happy, then that’s what i would define as fair. whether that be 3 dG for your 3 or a case of dG for your 3, if both sides are happy, then it’s fair. i think where you’re getting tripped up is confusing feedback / criticism with simple questions for the goal of setting expectations. you’re ISO (while specific to dG) is pretty vague. so someone who might trade, say 6 dG bottles for your 3 isn’t going to waste their time if you’re looking for 8-10 bottles let’s say. i hope this helps and i am certain you will be able to land a variety of dG for your bottles.
