AZ is a pretty big place so not sure how close you are to different things . But there are a number of total wines including one in Tuscan and they have a wide range of products including all major German brands

So, you really *don't* care if you're getting an adjunct lager.

I am unsure what represents "affordable" for you but FWIW I am a fan of the lagers produced by Tombstone Brewery. Maybe seek out some of those beers?

    Cheers!

Bierstadt had $5 crowlers. No help at all for your situation, but it's it's helluva deal.

If you guys get northcoast brewing, their scrimshaw is scrumptious and around $15/12 pack around here. Not as cheap as can be, but a good deal on great beer if you ask me

Seems like Walmart availability is the primary criteria

Not all adjunct lagers are created the same ... I'd take Hamm's over Bud anyday. I'd also take Miller High Life over Hamm's any day.

Have you tried finding the "beer guy " at the BevMo stores or other bottle shops ? .They can steer you to a wonderful world of quality craft lagers.

I was never a chetty guy ... I do really enjoy their traditional lager on occasion though.

I regularly find Pilsner Urquell four packs (of 16.9 oz. cans) for like $8. I think it's a pretty widely available brew and would imagine the price isn't vastly different.

Bitburger four packs are even cheaper. I don't enjoy Bitburger as much as Urquell, but I still enjoy it a great deal.

How are those 3 beers "created" (brewed) differently? Obviously Anheuser-Busch uses brewer's rice as Budweiser's adjunct, while Molson Coors used maltose/corn syrup for both Hamm's and High Life, and both Hamm's and Bud apparently are brewed with hop pellets (InBev dropping whole hops for Bud) while Miller High Life uses light-stable hop extract. But what in the "creation" of them makes MHL superior, with Hamm's #2? Or do you just like the final result better?
