Yea, I'm not a big fan of Triple IPAs generally, but I'm planning to pick this one up if I see it.

I have really enjoyed Beezer and Double Beezer - they've worked their way into that pool of beers that I purchase on a rotating basis. I need to try some of their other beers this year ...

    Thank you for the update.
On the opposite side of their spectrum, their hoppy lager, Hokum, is terrific.

Drinking a Trip Beez (sorry) now, it's sweeter than I generally like (not a surprise, being 10% abv), but it's very good. The hops avoid that astringency you sometimes get with really fresh, overly-hopped beers, and there isn't a ton of alcohol bite for the amount of alcohol actually in it. Really happy to see OI nailing a bunch of my favorite styles nowadays; their lagers/pilsners are nice, their stouts are great, and they've got the haze down.

In my honest opinion: Beezer > Double Beezer > Triple Beezer

Beezer, in general, can be too sweet for me at times; that sweetness is just way too much for me in the Double and Triple versions.

Also, add another year onto the list where I wish I could've purchased more Krampus. I'm down to my last few cans.

Agreed, Krampus set this year was really good and I also regret only getting a 2 pack of each. Krampus in general has been improving annually and I was a huge fan of Koko Krampus this year. Double Beezer is my favorite in that family. Can't wait for OIB to reopen for dining.

I've admittedly not gone after quite as many BA stouts this "year" as I usually do, but I think Koko is probably my favorite. I was surprised I even preferred it to Xtra Dubl Benthic, since Benthic used to be my fave yearly BA coconut stout.

Damn, that's high praise. I won't sleep on Krampus next year!

I’m a fan as well (I love IPLs). I just wish they wouldn’t use the kviek yeast for these. I prefer a standard lager yeast combined with tropical/fruity hops. But it’s definitely better than Betamax.

Last can of Triple Beezer. It’s all grown up now. What a fine beer.

I know this came out a little while ago, but I don't see it mentioned and I'm just getting around to it. Dark Incantation Coffee Stout with Hexe coffee is a really smooth, very easy drinking (for 8%), all around damn fine beer.

Decent for the price and worth the 4 pack. Wouldn't be a repeat purchaser for a second round, however.

Same. While I do think it is one of their better adjunct stout offerings, I would like to try it without the addition of sugar. Their stouts are quite rich as is imo, so I wish they wouldn't always add additional sweeteners (same with Hubbard's Cave).

Goat Destroyer (maibock) is officially (finally) available in cans! This makes me quite happy.

FYI for everyone. Starting Dec 27, OIB is now requiring proof of vaccination. I didn't see anything about it on their web site, but it is on their Facebook page. "Please present a valid photo ID (age 16+) along with your Vaccination Card (photocopy or pic on your phone work fine)."

If you scroll down a bit on their FB page, they had to close just before Christmas due to some breakthrough cases amongst their staff. Talk about getting a lump of coal for Christmas!

I think that applies to the whole city of Chicago too.

Yes, but not until Jan 3, 2022. And it applies to all of Cook County. However, OIB's requirement started yesterday.
