ST's Creme Brulee mixed with just about any other stout is fantastic! On it's own Creme Brulee is a bit overpowering but put about a 20/80 mix with any other stout and it is out of this world. Kasteel Rouge mixed with stouts is also another delicious combo.

-Agreed on all counts. On it's own, I can do maybe 3-4 ounces of Creme Brulee in lieu of desert, but mixing it with other stouts is great. Mixing Creme Brulee or Southern Tier's other ones, "Choklat", "Jah-Va", and "Mokah" with their "Oat" are perfect candidates. All five mixed together would be great I'm sure. Sweet, but great.

Tonight I'm going to do a 50/50 mix of Narwhal and Celebration Ale - I'm going to call it a NarNar. I really enjoy blending beers. Anyone else out there in BA land enjoy mixing beers together? ...if you never have, give it a shot....

    NarNar?

Why not CelNar, or NarCel. I would think NarNar is just Narwahl mixed with Narwahl?

My dad was at troeg`s recently and they told him to pour the rest of my mom`s dreamweaver into the rest of my dad`s mad elf and my dad said he liked it. If I remember correctly, I think he said that troeg`s may have an actual version of this comin` out.

Did a 50/50 mix of Uncle Jacobs and Rumpkin yesterday (per a couple other BA's recommendation). That was freaking delicious

Also did a mix of Boxer's Revenge and Red Poppy...that one, not so delicious...

Victory Storm King/Victory Hop Devil = Dark Devil. very tasty, like a hoppy stout with a strong malt backbone
Victory Storm King/victory Golden Monkey = Silverback. Havent had, but heard good things.

On another note, fireball whisky and apple cider is yummy.

Founders Breakfast Stout with B. Nektar Zombie Killer is about the most delicious thing I have ever tasted! Any good chocolate or coffee stout will do, but the Founders is the best combo I have tried so far.

I don't think I could get myself to bastardize any good craft brews by mixing them with anything else.

cool, thanx, too bad I'm not visiting my parents for Christmas, and all I got right now is a bomber of Mad Elf that I'm waiting until Christmas to open it up with a friend and his family that are coming over. I'll remember Mad Dream next year when I'm down in PA.

I agree, this seems strange to me (even though I have had several blends from brewers that where/are amazing...FW Anniversary to name one). It reminds me of when I was a little boy and mixing all the different sodas at the fountain (Yuck). I like beer too much to risk ruining it.

I was at a vertical tasting of The Abyss (2008-2012) and a friend mixed a couple of his glasses together just so the waitress could clear the table...I wanted to slap him in the face!
