That’s fine, but I’d imagine you have a number of cans that you’d want, no? I don’t know what’s fair either, but “quantity” had to have some number behind it when you posted.

 

They do. It’s s 3 case limit per person. I’m not implying that you are. Just think it’s helpful to be more specific in terms of an amount you are looking for. A quantity could really be anything so you could be annoyed if people message offering a 4-pack or whatever. That’s all. Good luck.

 

Heady is everywhere in VT, $12.70 at the brewery and around $14 in the wild

 

I would say a case of heady would be fair. $100ish retail plus shipping will be pricey. No one actively seeks BYR much on this site at least, it's past its prime and its secondary is most likely 100-150.

 

lol there’s zero chance someone is going to want to pay $100 in retail for Heady plus another like $40 in shipping for an entire case when they could just as easily pay $100 for BYR.

OP is probably looking at 10-12 cans, if they’re reasonable.

 

I don’t think 10-12 cans is reasonable, either. I’d say a case if OP covers half the shipping cost

 

Best of luck to IP or whoever tries to make that trade, but regardless of what you think might be fair here it’s very difficult for me to imagine somebody wanting to go through the trouble of procuring a case of Heady, packing it all up, shipping it and paying for half of the shipping cost… and choosing to trade their primary at what comes out to above someone else’s secondary, essentially.

People aren’t seeking out BYR regularly anymore, even if it still has some value, but like I said someone who is ISO it could pay less overall and go through 10x less hassle tracking it down other ways so I have no clue why they would make that trade.

 

I'm not saying this is gonna close fast, but if someone has easy access to heady and wants to tick a classic bourbco it's a no brainer. I like ticking old classics. I'd gladly send someone $100 of narrow Gauge or Shared.

 

12 cans probably fair. BYR faded and the shipping discrepancy is insane
