Wild Onion Drago Mole Stout (2020)



Overall, this is a well blended Mexican Chocolate style BA stout, the barrel is subtle until this warms and then is smooth but strong, typical of the Drago series. Overall, another winner from Wild Onion.

Last day of my 4 day weekend, yuck! I won’t have a day off unless I take it now until Memorial Day. That seems like a long ways away. I do have the Patriots and Yellowstone to watch later. Now I will sip this juice and take down decorations. Cheers all.

Good morning BAs! Another late night…we watched the new Matrix movie…thus, another late morning…dogs fed and kitchen cleaned, it must be coffee time - KBS Espresso:



Bottled 8/18/21. Poured at 58°. Strong coffee nose, bitter roast coffee taste. I like better than yesterday’s cinnamon variant. Lots of unpacking left to do, but I’m not motivated…Cheers and have a restful Sunday y’all!

Enjoyed a walk on the concrete suburban trails today, since we’ve gotten a bunch of precipitation recently. Nice enough out, for a few more hours at least, before possible snow overnight.

Full review in New Beer Sunday #880, bottom line this is great like their other offerings, need to purchase their beers more once I work the cellar down.

First true snow and cold, and I am dreading going outside but should do so after I finish this, as it is dropping to 4 F later tonight.

Cold weather make people stupid, that's a fact.

 

Triptych Pilsner Is A Four Letter Word. Cleaned up the rest of the snow for me and 3 of my neighbors, now it's time to settle in and watch my Bears square off with the equally "impressive" New York Football Giants.
