New Glarus (2022)

NG is like the 2000’s Dallas cowboys of beer. They put out a quality product, they aren’t good enough to win anything big, sure they’ll win a few games here and there but never the SB. People either love them and think it’s the 90s or hate them because well fuck Dallas (Go birds).

Logging in for the first time in 2022, I did not think I'd see hot-takes this aggressive in the NG thread of all places, lol.

 

$hit got real when NG started suing people.

I saw 37 replies to the new thread and assumed it was takes or scandal

 

I had similar thoughts; I did not expect the 2022 NG thread to start with a discussion of whether their beer is watery, flavorless crap.

With that said, I was not overly excited with the 1Q schedule. The Berry Bock doesn't sound like my thing. I'll try Spotted Cow grand cru I suppose (I was out of state when that debuted), but Spotted Cow isn't really my thing either.

Would love to see this year: zwickel, HB, imperial weizen. And am I the only one who remembers Black Top fondly?
