Extra space for events or another tap room?

By the way, if you’re a mug club member they’re fill the Krug halfway if you only want a half liter.

I don't think that looks like the current spot, since they literally have no room left (they've really filled the Malden space out). Hopefully, it's expansion?

Man, I know it won’t happen but I’d LOVE for them to put the new space in Saugus. Or any brewery or beer pub for that matter. At least K Pub always has a solid IPA on draft, I guess….

    When were you there?

They really should, that area is ripe for a taproom. Route 1 or Market Street.

I'd heard some rumblings of something in Wakefield, no idea if it's connected or not

Interesting. I know they ran the beer garden their during the summer, so there's a connection (I never made it, but it looked awesome).

Mostly I'm just really glad that they are doing well enough to expand. They check all of the boxes that I look for in a brewery, but I sometimes worry that they are too below-the-radar in Boston.

This would be awesome. That's my home town so I'm there all the time.

I think if they did this they'd make a KILLING. There's no breweries in Wakefield. Closest to there is Lord Hobo in Woburn, and of course Essex in Peabody, the cluster by Beverly, then Salem...etc.

I will be jumping for joy if it is Wakefield - a lot easier for me to get to. Fingers crossed!

That whole area (extending down to Burlington) is a (good) brewery desert. They'd kill it, if rumors are true.

Definitely. You need to go down to Peabody on 128 to find your first brewery (Essex).

They sold out of beer (and food I think) at the pop up by the lake in Wakefield.

And from what I understand Public Kitchen does well with a very solid craft beer list on Main Street in Wakefield.

I mean I’ll take Wakefield, but I, still holding out hope for Saugus or Lynnfield.

This is truly an incredible beer. This is bordering on a "one beer for the rest of your life" type beer in my eyes as it hits all of the elements I look for - tasty, refreshing, subtle yet complex. What a joy to drink.

I wonder if this is what that Twitter post is referring to...

But the bigger news may be that Idle Hands isn’t done experimenting with beer-wine hybrids. They’re anticipating brewing further batches of Weinlager throughout 2022, as well as working with a prominent-but-unnamed Massachusetts winery on an additional release.
