And sadly, in 12-18 months, the lists will be deemed as “stagnant” and be changed again. It’s extremely frustrating.

... isn't that kinda the point, at least from BA's perspective? It keeps users engaged and "chasing" rather than completing it and never considering it again.

 

There are some strange additions. Take numbers crunch as an example. Only two batches and the last one from 2019 was infected????

 

Or it has the opposite effect. I don’t log my beers on here anymore… Why chase the carrot?

 

That beer in the bottles were shit when I tried it two different times about 6 years ago. Did get to try the small growler about 4 years ago and was excellent but can’t be many of either left out there. There were less than 100 of the original 750ml bottles if I recall

Eh, it's a dumb list, and one like any of the other thousand out there. Drink what you like and go from there *shrug*

 

I’m equal parts super irritated (as I was getting close on the 250) and proud that @Todd is refreshing the list to give us some new beers to chase. Black & Wild - huh?!?

That said - reviews are waaaaaaay down here so it’s hard to gauge accuracy any more. UT ratings have their own issues too but the volume is so much higher - I’d like to see a speedier merge between databases.

 

I strongly recommend just picking today’s list and sticking with it. I’ve traveled numerous times nationally and even once internationally trying to complete the list from May 2014. I’ve encountered so many cool people along the way trying to help me finish. It’s been one of the funnest things I can remember doing and almost 8 years later I’m down to one, my ultimate white whale. It’s beer. Beer should always and only be fun. No stress

 

That sounds awesome and congrats! But what is the one white whale??? Also just out of curiosity…if you used todays list how many are you at?

 

My white whale is voodoo pappy bm. I keep hoping voodoo makes it again because I can’t scrape up anything big enough to pull the few old bottles that are still out there. A quick count of the current list would put me at about 178/250.
