I think they're still for sale, but if anyone can proxy for me and wants a can or a thank you box hit me up. Already posted a proxy request but figured some STL guys would see this.
TY box would be Answer stout cans or some Veil bottles.

So... How's symmetry for those that have tried it?

Pretty asymmetrical if you ask me. Just kidding. Haven't had it yet!

I was going to pass on Parfait since my fomo doesn’t hold the same strength it once did, but after two rounds of shoveling I saw they were still available and I figured I’d reward myself with a small order.

I’m sitting in the same boat. Seeing it still available is making it tough to pass

I think you'll be angrier seeing it sell out then wanting it than having the cans...but I'm a bad influence.

I thought it was good, the barrel plays the main role again here, then cinnamon, and vanilla to round it out. Both of the adjuncts are subtle so I wouldn't be expecting BVC or a bigger cinnamon beer for those that thought that. Definitely another showing of how well they can blend, balance, and change a beer as it warms.

Last of my Side Project bottles…just opened for the evening.

    Merci, Blend #5.

My experience with the beers involved in the blend isn’t deep. I’ve only had Fuzzy once, blend #3, late in ‘18. Never had an Oude Fermier. I’ve had Merci before, Blend #3, back in the summer of ‘17.

Pour was a beaut, big fluffy head that lingered a bit. Zippy tartness. Will have to see how it opens up.

    Cheers!

Happy Sunday. All out of SP bottles, but missed some I wanted to recap, quickly. The rest of the set from the BBT package and last night’s Merci. Drank these first three about a month ago.

I drank them in order of release; Tête, La Ruche, Pulling Nails. My apologies if I’m incorrect.

All bottles were consumed over 2 hours or so.

    Pour #1, Pour #2

This was excellent. A pleasure at 750. Impressed with the leveled acidity in these bottles than I’m used to. First pour, wine barrels front and center, second half was more stone fruit fleshiness. Body stood out, heft. Surprising to see some impressions of this as a lesser release of this beer. While my previous Tête experience was a small sample back at FoFA in ‘17. I thought this was a world class saison and would love to have many bottles of it.

Very light and easy drinking. Could drink a lot of this. A step down from Anna, but no slouch.

Very good. The acidity reared it’s head a bit here especially over the second half. Didn’t impact the experience too much, but less enjoyable, easy than the others. A full bottle was much for me. Another glass sure, but not something I’d revisit.

Merci from last night was great. Again, not a ton of experience with the blend, but it was the one I found myself wanting to slug back.

    Final ranking for these…

    Tête
    Merci
Pulling Nails #13 (first pour only)
La Ruche (overall on pulling nails for sheer drinkability, enjoyment)

Lastly, a side step, but presumably a beer/brewery that you all frequent. Today’s long haul pour. Thanks @Affinity

Again, thank you to all who have proxied, etc. Good people, thank you. Until my next run of luck on packages.

    Cheers!

Inspired by @MattOC , and recent talk - here's my first go with a Parfait. Not sure which batch, but it's labeled as having been finished on vanilla beans and cinnamon sticks. Inaugural pour into the BBT package SP glass too.
