It was in my feed yesterday but is gone now. I have Spon and Black Atrial still in my feed and both are available.
For anyone wondering, I really enjoyed Black Atrial. I had it on tap at Jester King on release day and bought a few bottles to bring home, and after trying it I was really glad I did. I'm not usually the biggest fan of sour stouts, but this one carried over just enough tartness from the raspberries to balance the stout flavors IMO. Kind of surprised to see it on Tavour after how limited the release was last year, though it seems JK really increased their output this year of both Atrial Rubicite and Black Atrial.
Maple Jacket from Revolution is up for me now. Day after my crate closed. Trying to reel me in again, and hard. Funny enough, they have the style listed a porter for this one though... Yikes.
I’d argue you should visit the rev thread from 2021 and read the reviews/discussion. Should be in the last 2ish pages This is not me suggesting it is bad, but from comments it definitely does not seem like it is for everyone.
You got a Mortalis stout in yours? Was it a BA version? Either way, those ers. They don’t ship anything to the Buffalo area, so I’m constantly driving there!
Same here -- I will have to console myself with Strawberry Jacket, which I don't think will be a problem! I'm loving all the Rev drops lately so am hoping they keep them coming. Though now I'm also a little more reluctant to blindly purchase variants if Maple Jacket isn't all it's cracked up to be as @Beer_Economicus eluded.
Yeah, maybe I'm better off with strawberry, the reviews are a lot better for sure. If maple pops up I'll have to get one though. I'm still living under my self-imposed must buy all b-wines rule. So far from revolution I've had 4 Deth's and they were all great.
+100 for you for awesome I was in same boat with Revs and tavour. 65 dollars for a 4 pack of stouts ,3 of which were boo boo stouts, but one was Deths Tar. I really wanted it but couldn't justify that sales tactic and an awesome BA sent me Deths Tar.
Trying to touch 'em all here... Nah, it came and went pretty quick. So in looking again it's a collab between them and Beer Tree Brew Co. Some full on pastry neopolitan ice cream stout. Word is that dude is super lame. As a rabid consumer of Rev Deep Woods for many years now. This is the one you want about 1,000 times over Maple Jacket and Strawberry Jacket. How much? I think MSRP was $32.99/4 in stores.
$10.99 per can
Even with the Tavour upcharge here, there are many breweries selling lesser beers for more. If you don't have access to Rev, enjoy straight up BA stuff, I wouldn't hesitate to add this to your crate...probably a couple.
G-dammit. Those are the two I want the most. None for me, just Strawberry Jacket (which is an excellent beer if you have a sweet tooth).
Ryeway sees distribution. If you saw others, there's a reasonable probability you'll see Ryeway. Have you checked the beerfinder yet?
