    had it way after the release but i can easily say my 2 experiences with D6 (anniversary party 2018 and Beers & Bites 2019) is that not only is it the worst Derivation by a country mile as well as the worst SP beer i’ve ever had but also just one of the worst beers i’ve ever had period. here’s hoping this recreation fresh is better.

    never had D14 but at least AB D didn’t taste like sour mint chocolate…

    i’m pretty sure it was just past it’s prime. i know everyone loves to age those stouts but bottom line, they just fall apart after a while.

    I've enjoyed D6 every time I had it. That being said I'm a total idiot and still have a bottle that I should have opened years ago. So I guess we'll see how it compares to For Phil

    Cinnamon cacao vanilla turned into mint? That sounds like something more than oxidation and adjunct decline... particularly being sour. Hadn't heard that kind of finding before today.

    always wanted to try D6. never had the opportunity until that 2018 anniversary party and i talked to to several other people ( @TNCraftBeer i talked to for sure) and we all agreed it was off. to me, it tasted like infected BA 17.

    decided to give it another go at the beers and bites event and that turned out to be the biggest little mistake of my life.

    Looks like I solo’d a D6 at the Cellar in August of 2016. I have zero recollection drinking that but I gave it a 5.

    Pretty sure it was but I don’t recall if it aligned with a bottle release or if it was just a D6 on-site release.
