My wife got what was called a mild case on her back. She is not one to complain but she was in quite a bit of pain. I worked with a woman that got them on her face across her eye, it affected her vision permanently.
We were going to get the shots but then COVID hit and we forgot about it, after hearing the conversations here, I’m going to schedule the shots for us tomorrow. Cheers.

 

You'd be wise to do so - you might have a bit of discomfort from the shots, but it's a heck of a lot more manageable then having permanent affliction. Just be forewarned, the injection site will be sore the next day. My arm felt like it weighed a 100 lbs - but they warned me it would hurt. You'd be making a smart move my friend!

Friends came over to jam, brought this AZ beer. Tower station. Had one. Good IPA.

 

Well,

 

So in our spare food fridge in our basement (not to be confused with my beer fridge, or my homebrew kegerator fridge), for years the two bottom crisper drawers have stored the random leftover bottles of wine coolers and malternative drinks that we've served at picnics (for the couple of friends that drink those), and get "recycled" back into the coolers at next summers parties. I was moving stuff around in the fridge recently, and realized that there was a single bottle of Clausthaler Non-Alcoholic in the back of the drawer.

When I was a kid, my Netherlands-born grandfather only drank Michelob, which at the time were in those funky lava lamp shaped bottles. But late in his life he had switched over to having a single Non Alcoholic beer a day for health reasons. First he drank Kaliber, then at some point switched to Clausthaler. So I would keep a six pack in the fridge for when he visited and wanted one. He passed away almost 3 years ago, so it clearly had been in the fridge for a long time. The label is dated Enjoy By 04/2016.

So good timing with the current interest in NA beers for Dry January. Even though I'm not participating in Dry January, I'm drinking this one in memory of my Pop Pop tonight. I'll put a review in the Cellaring sub-forum.

 

Now any time I feel anything similar. I think, oh crap is it back? Despite 2 shots
