Surprised to see this thread not opened this late. Dry January = Eating Ass, as the boys at Pabst say.

Just finished posting my review of this beer in the Cellar Review thread, it's held up well, though perhaps not as well as it is fresh (sadly my first go, so cannot tell first hand).

Central Waters Peruvian Morning Brand Stout

Hope they come back with this soon so I can compare and contrast. Central Waters remains one of my favorite brewers of Barrel Aged stouts.

Sad news last evening on the music front. Thanks for the memories Ronnie Spector!

Good morning @ChicagoJ and all, about time you got this party started indeed. Also, Central Waters at least for their stouts lineup are amongst my top ten American brewery.

    Drinking Chimay Tripel.

I’m still continuing the past or present iconic figures theme to draw. Here’s the Little Prince, which was a book from French author Antoine de St Exupery.

    Cheers, all!

We are in Florida (Bradenton to be exact) visiting my sister and BIL. Our daughter is down from Tampa also. We're having a great time and I'm looking forward to drinking some Florida beer.

Yes, another UA N/A placebo. Feels refreshing and tastes good enough after a tough interval / track workout (8 x 400 m, ugh, the worst).

Beautiful day, though, here on the Front Range at the end of the world... but seriously, we need snow... like last month. Ridiculous here. Ok, rant over.

Cheers to y'allz, and to allz be good.

Clear, golden body; fair carbonation: good head, rings of foam and sheeting in the glass. Soft pine nose with some mild esters. Clean taste; light malt presence; moderate hop bitterness. Light to medium mouthfeel; crisp.

Nice and refreshing India pale ale.

Slow day here at the Virtual Bar I see!

Just got back from Petal’s vet appointment. $383 later…

She was not pleased to be there.

She’s on some new allergy stuff and got her ear packed because her infections have been terrible lately.

Went through Starbucks afterwards to get her a Puppacino. [IMG]

Now home with my treat…so glad to be off the next few days. Been working myself to death, no pun intended…

    Happy Thursday BA

Either half of the participants of the Virtual Bar are doing dry January or working crazy hours.

Usually by nearly 3:30pm ET we were much closer to Page 2 if not already rolling it.

That booze isn’t going to drink itself.

Good afternoon BA's. Yes, surprising the bar is not that busy for a Thursday which happens to be my lovely daughter's 41st birthday - cheers to you sweetie! Will do my part to contribute today!
Temps are in the low 50's and cloudy but we have a watch on for "Winter Storm Izzy" which has the local media whipped up into a froth! I do admit i had to run out and purchase a snow shovel and ice scrappers for our cars and admit i have not shoveled snow since leaving Michigan for PHX back in 1986! Better go out to YouTube to see how to shovel LOL!
Today's choice is a really nice Saison from Russian River. Very light and fruity, a touch of horse blanket, and finishes with a touch of black pepper bitterness. i can see this would be really refreshing on a warm spring or summer day!
    Cheers!
    Tom
