What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #3375

Happy Sunday evening! Enjoying the fact I have the day off tomorrow. Drinking a nice easy American Lager from New Realm Brewing in Atlanta. Hallertau, Hersbrucker, and Lemondrop hops give this pale lager a nice subtle aroma & spiciness. Watching Cowboys & 49ers.

 

Celebration Ale



This is a live jam I recorded in my basement - Rich Kneeland on rhythm guitar, Bob Winston on drums, Rick Calcagni on bass and me on guitar/slide. It changes groove a few times - it could almost be interpreted as 4 connected jams.

Strictly impromptu - we just start a groove and see where it goes. Actually I wrote this tune when I was 18 years old with a friend of mine who lived right next door to the Worcester State hospital, hence the name. I tend to play differently when I'm jamming with live musicians - you feed off of each other's ideas. The song only exists to jam over - and we all like jamming on it. Cheers!

 

Me and Julia are watching Rifftrax movies. I am going to download the Jurassic park version. Apparently quiptracks is a thing we never heard about too.

Having a 2018 Vintage Wizard Burial ground. A new vintage to check in for untappd too! Tasting amazing and quite a bit more spicy/earthy from yeast and barrel. Plenty of fig and date fruits. Does not feel as slick/syrupy as previous batches and also more drying on the finish from higher carbonation. Lingering warmth and mild booze after the finish. I wonder if there are any Belgian only breweries in NC. Vivant was always a local favorite back in the day. 4.3

It was @beerjerk666, he uses the Hershey Porter. I make a Texas chili with stout. Texas chili has no beans. That might be more to your liking.

Good man. Never besmirch a free beer. When you get home, beer flavored beer will do the trick

 

Yeah - someone starts a groove and we just join in. These guys are excellent players so it makes it easy to jam with them. So yeah - made up on the spot after a little beer and reefer, we were in the zone that day. Cheers!!!
