    Enjoyed yesterday's quite hot vegan chili. Today much more mellow. Went well with the Pilsner. Headed over to vinoville, but may drop back in for a porter and cookie. Cheers!

    Another from FF. This is an imperial stout boiled with hot granite rocks and steeped on fire roasted apples and house made caramel syrup. Caramel and light apple comes through in the finish. A very good beer. Thanks for this one too FF.

    I really like this brewery. They use lots of local ingredients and they make interesting well crafted beers. Wish I had access 365.

    Sitting here just enjoying being mellow.

    Downhill I presume?

    I will never forget crossing over the Santa Cruz mountains in a friend’s borrowed old (late 70s? Early 80s?) Audi. As the incline kept on getting steeper, speed kept on dropping with the gas pedal floored. I think things leveled out at around 35 mph. People behind me were not happy.

    They are awesome. I will visit them when I get back home. I believe they have moved on me ( was there in 15 ). Were right outside of Morganton

    Sad part is that is their “second home” at the in-laws. So, I just walked into our bedroom to see what they were doing (real-time), and yep.. confirmed they own the place!

    Thats a picture thats both funny and says a thousand words. They really do own that place but at least it shows how healthy and safe they feel,and spoiled
