Man, this may be enough to draw me across the state to split a bottle at the Cellar/Brewery. Thanks for the post. Just happened to have deleted Instagram.

now the capitalization of N in New makes me wonder if this is a new beer altogether or just another horrible misuse of capitalizing words that have no business being capitalized by breweries when describing their beers.

Just wanna say I really appreciate you always reposting the SP Instagram images here. Gives me one less reason to waste time on social media.

was also going to comment that scribe b2 most likely wasn’t up to snuff and that’s why it got blended into PN10.. is that what you’re implying @Heisenbrew ?

    the mountains of buuuusssccchh

in all seriousness, i haven’t had Scribe Classic but wasn’t it a collab with Perennial, with their part of the collab being called something different?

Please don't jump on me for being the way that I am--again--but does anyone else think that Scribe won't be embraced by the community in the same way b1 was? It was a bit of a left field sort of brew back then, not seen much in the industry, during a time when sour beers taking extreme steps in any direction were all the rage. I'd be surprised if there's much demand this time around besides the novelty.

i could easily see folks who’ve tried it and maybe run out of bottles being excited to revisit. i could see folks who never got to try it and don’t want to trade an arm and a leg for b1 being keen to try it (me). if it gets unretired and in the top 250, folks are going to be looking to tick. there’s always tickers.

i do agree with you though that it’s going to be more about the aura surrounding b1 and the fact that it hasn’t been made in such a long time than the actual beer in the bottle.

I can almost guarantee I won’t be spending $50 or more on a dark sour. If it was on draft I’d get a pour but I just can’t throw money around like that on stuff that I may not even like

I never saw the appeal of The Scribe in the first place. I'd be shocked to see it be held in the same regard as batch 1.
