Anyone seen Bigfoot yet??

Rather than releasing the "Farewell Fortieth Vintage" (with a footnote about it still being available in future, in a sixtel to be tapped at the annual brewery Christmas party.)

 

I'm not a superstitious guy, but I will not "like" your post due to "an abundance of caution."

 

Yeah, know what ya mean. I sorta wish the "Like" option was divided into either "I agree with you" or "Thanks for the info" notices. Always think it's strange when someone, say, posts an article about the serious illness or death of a well-known brewer or a beloved brewery going out of business and people "Like" the post.

I mean, the name IS Bigfoot, it should be elusive...

 

I picked up a 6 at my local Whole Foods last weekend. I think I like this year's a tiny bit better than last year's.

 

It’s here in NY. Tastes great. I like my Bigfoot fresh. Mine had plain Sierra Nevada silver crown caps instead of the special dated footprint ones… which I imagine will annoy those who specifically collect Bigfoot caps for each year. Are the caps all like this @SierraTerence ?

 

I was reading through this thread looking to see if I was on the only person to mention the caps. I'm in NY and my caps are the same as you described. I have many years of dated caps and now these silver caps with no date.

Phew...That's good. For my home-made ones I didn't have a fine point paint stick and then the paint kept running...

When we opened the first boxes from our vendor, they were stamped 2021... And we surely don't want to relive last year. LOL (Kind of fitting, right?)

If you remember 2014, the foot got mirrored and was a left foot but at least the correct year.

Later batches will have the correct crown.

 

I wonder if that's a collector's item?
