Hey there, like I said I’m based out of New Orleans. I’m trying to get some Spotted Cow from Wisconsin for a friends birthday - it’s their favorite. I’m willing to trade literally whatever. Would someone be able to walk me through how to do that? New Orleans isn’t known for its beer so I’m hoping I’ll have luck.
The Parish is a couple hours away from you and is highly regarded. They should distribute to some of your local shops, so assuming you can get it, you could try posting to the $4$ or locals trade forums. Ghost in the Machine is probably their most well known regularly released beer, so assuming you can get it fresh (let’s say within 3 weeks of bottling/canning), I’d think you’d have some interest. I expect some other Parish beers would have a shot at gathering interest as well. Personally, I thought their Reve Coffee Stout was delicious. Good luck!
Honestly spotted cow is so widely available and cheap you don’t have to drive a few hours to get beer, I’m sure New Orleans had at least 1 brewery which makes good beer
I'm sure folks might be interested in trying some Courtyard, Parleaux or Miel or something (I especially enjoyed the last two my most recent visit). I wouldn't go out of your way for a Parish release. Honestly I think your better bet is to look for proxies.
Oh I’ve been to all of those. Honestly I never considered people outside of the area would be interested in them or know of them. This is a very cool site.
Oh I’m sure. I’m just willing to send whatever because I kind of need it sent out before the end of this week because my other idea for a present fell through.
Her birthday isn’t until the 31st but we might doing something that weekend. I’m not sure what shipping is like since this is my first time doing this. But I’d be willing to send more beer to make sure it gets here on time.
