    I had 1 bottle when I had the subscription last year, and it was great.
    Way better when I had a couple of drafts at Brighton this year tho!
    I know draft is always better, but I think they improved the pitch lining a bit, too, if I remember correctly.

    They've told me in the past that Pitch lined is really the only one they won't do crowlers of.

    Now this is the kind of thing the mug club subscribers should be invited to. Like, Chris and the team roll the barrels in the morning with an audience and then the mug club people get a free pour of pitch lined before they open for the day. Make it fun & educational (and give us a beer). That's all I'm asking for. :wink:

    While draft differs from being packaged, the difference here might have been due to the reused pitch vs. newly pitched barrels. For instance, V4/draft was a product of re-pitched barrels (new), so the impact might have been more noticeable than the previous batch

    Thus, not necessarily a factor of improving the pitch, but a dependent on when pitch line is applied/salvaged. Granted, that lining is likely to improve with the crusade, especially since Chris plans on re-pitching each time now
