One good thing about dry January is that you can drink beer at 10:30 AM while working from home!

A cool but sunny morning. Dogs have been walked, and I'm enjoying this RIS.

I never found that a problem during "wet" months and with "above 0.5%" beer, even when not working from home - 5 am start meant sometimes lunch was at 10:30 am, but if I needed a beer during the 8:30 am break...

Dry January is almost over for me. I'm now ISO of that Stout. I like Alaskan's dark offerings (Baltic Porter, Smoked Porter, etc.).

    Cheers!

    Perla Pils from Poland.
Not bad for an industrial pilsner. Nice price too.

Joy Division was called Warsaw (like the capital of Poland) before the band changed its name.

All day rain today, a high of 52° expected…gloomy weather pairs nicely with an afternoon stout - KBS:

Good afternoon BA's. Good to be back at the bar after a few days away. Temps are in the mid-50's, not quite warm enough to melt the shoveled piles of last week.
Anyway, i have jumped into an impy stout from Casita Brewing in Wilson, NC. Love the label art but not so much the brew as i am getting an herbal/medicinal nose and taste. Brew has the Mexican hot chocolate adjuncts of vanilla, cinnamon, cocoa, and chilis and it seems something has gone wrong. But the brew is a wonderful dedication to raising funds and awareness for breast cancer research.

Today's music choice is an old favorite from REM, a band i appreciate more today than yesteryear.
    Cheers!

Good afternoon, advocates. Settling in with some Bing Bong from Deep Fried Beers. This is interesting. Cheers!
