Search glitch on "Weihenstephaner"

    Why is it that if you search for Weihenstephaner, as it's spelled out on the label, do you not get directed to the Bayerische Staatsbrauerei Weihenstephan? That's probably an easy fix, right?

    Because you're searching for "Weihenstephaner," which doesn't exist in the name of the brewery or the names of any of the beers.

    I looks like @JamFuel removed "Weihenstephaner" from the beer names back on January 3, 2020. Adding it back would be the fix and sync with the branding of the beers.

    So, simple, right? I'm not a computer guy at all, but aren't there "behind the scenes" spellings and what not that direct searches? For example, if you Google YooToob you'll still be dircted to Youtube.

    Google is part of $1.5 trillion megacorp that built its fortune on searching, but there are definitely similar solutions for site's like ours. It would just require a complete overhaul of the site's search. Something that's much needed, and on my list.
