There's been a ton of extended barrel aged Deth's Tars over the years...if that fits your definition, I can name about 10...if you only want beers literally labelled V.S.O.D., it's a smaller list.

A list of all the single barrels would be cool. Not sure how many were packaged, but I might try to track down a few that have been.

Um, the 10 beers I was thinking of are all double barrel-aged beers.

    My bad!

I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen that post on this forum. How the times have changed!

Even with the changes to pickup this release, I am not sure it should be mich of a line...

At capacity. 1 in, 1 out. Line of at least 20 and has not really moved for past 10 minutes.

If just getting beer don’t have to wait.

Had Sanctuary 14 and 16…liked 14 more, but didn’t love either one. Passed on the AB and Peach Brandy. For almost every release this year have enjoyed what’s canned more than the variants…just haven’t worked for me.

Small line, took 10 mins to get in around 6pm.

Biggest taproom crowd I've seen in a while.

I'm by the glass overlooking the Brewing space, alone like a real FUPA God, say hi if you'd like!

Sanctuary 14 was awesome, Boss Ryeway to a whole new level. 16 was very good, VSOR is great, and I was way more into Billy than I expected. Peach and Apple Brandy were not my jam, both had an almost artificial fruit quality, especially on the nose.

If anyone’s at Rev now, was there a wait to get in? Thinking of heading there next.

VSOR is terrific. Bummed I missed out on cans. Apple brandy is on point, as is the Flak Jacket. Rev is really killing it.

    Variant thoughts:

Sanctuary 16 (Double Barrel X.O. Flak Jacket) > Apple Brandy V.S.O.R.' >> Sanctuary 14 (Double Barrel V.S.O. Boss Ryeway) >>>>>>>> Peach Brandy V.S.O.R.

The Flak Jacket had the most depth of the 4, with booze soaked dark fruit flavors, caramel, chocolate & deep oak.

Apple Brandy V.S.O.R. was a VERY well integrated beast, with the apple brandy notes living quite harmoniously with the base beer.

Double Barrel V.S.O. Boss Ryeway was more of a blunt instrument than 16; peanut brittle, bourbon heat & oak dominated. It was good, but one was enough.

Peach Brandy V.S.O.R. was a NOT VERY well integrated beast. Peach schnapps vibes. I didn't finish my glass.

    As always, just dumb opinions.

I would personally give the edge to dbvso Boss ryeway over db xo flak jacket (in that flak jacket was a bit too sweet). Both superior to the brandy barrel variants though.
