This one was one of my top 3 anticipateds, and I was not disappointed. While I haven't tasted yuzu, Buddha's Hand, or sudachi by themselves, this was nonetheless a beautifully citrus and tart delight. I'd gladly repeat this one.
Super subtle flavors as expected, but such a fantastic beer. Light, tart, refreshing with a great sweetness as it warms.
I can't wait for this one. I've loved yuzu ever since I had it at Afuri ramen in Tokyo and love caipirinhas so I'm curious how this is all going to mix together.
Sooo, unlike previous posts I admit I had never heard of sudachi or yuzu, let alone caipirinha. Poured a clearish golden, decent head, a nice waft of limeyness after the pour. Smells of bready limes, pretty clean. I love mojitos when I'm in an appropriate setting (an island), and I smell and taste mojito in addition to other unfamiliar but not off-putting flavors, though with a little thinner feel. I wouldn't consider this an 'extreme' beer per se but I love beer education so I will give this a nod.

Medium body; tart and acidic; fine, subtle abrasiveness tickles the palate. This is a fine, delicately soured beer. I poured this one very cold, but it blossoms as it warms. Apparently Caipirinha is the national cocktail of Brazil and highlights lime. This beer does the same. What I did was randomly grab and opened it. I definitely love the lime aspect of it. I have no experience with sudachi and Buddha's Hand (I have had beers with yuzu, but also have no clear idea what it smells or tastes like), but to whatever degree these ingredients were utilized, this is a fine beer.
I'm not cultured enough to know what any of these ingredients taste like but I can say that it's a tart refreshing lemon-lime citrusy sour.
Very nice. I don't drink sours very often (and it's been years since I've had a caipirinha), so wasn't sure what to expect. But I really enjoyed this one. Don't have much to add to the other comments. I agree with them -- very tasty, tart and refreshing.
This was a really, really well-balanced tart beer. I think far too often they are too puckery or too sweet but this was a terrific drinking beer with a unique and tasty flavor profile. I absolutely get some nice hints of the flavors, the tequila barrels added some depth. Honestly, a very, very pleasant surprise.
Everyone is mentioning "tart", but I don't see anyone saying "dry", which is what I really noticed drinking this -- it has an extremely dry finish. I'm usually more into sweet ciders than dry ones, so I'd expect "dry" on a sour would be a negative for me, but I actually quite liked this beer. Citrus very forward, and complex; a very refreshing beer but not one you'd want to chug on a hot day, since the subtlety would be wasted. This is the sort of beer I'd like to buy for non-beer-drinkers and see what they think.
I get sour, I get a subtle 7-up or Sprite soda flavor midway through. A refreshingly tart sipper. Doesn't really remind me of a caipirinha. The unique sounding beer ingredients aren't backed up on the flavor. To me it seems like a fairly familiar sour- almost something I've had before. It's a fine sour on its own merits, but the only beer out of the extreme box so far that hasn't made me say "Wow, this is different".
What I found interesting is that there are three fruits in here that I have never seen or had before, and my brain automagically said lemon/lime/salt. That and the weird spiral string carbonation that occurred when I poured it into the glass. Enjoyed this one, and never would I have thought it was 8%.
I get the Sprite note someone mentioned. It's tart and dry with a clean finish. I like it as a sour ale with lemon lime (which is my reference point since I don't know if I will ever have buddha's hand). I get the farmhouse vibe - it's not funky, but there is something there balancing it. If I have any complaints it's that I don't really get a Caipirinha from it, but I do suppose it says it's "not" one so truth in advertising.
#6 out of box and ranked 4 out of the 6 so far. Tastes exactly like a Budweiser left outside for a week in the summer heat (don't ask how I know). I'd say that qualifies for being pretty extreme!
