We just got a RR drop this week and nobody got pig. I'm pretty pissed. :unamused:

Nothing gets me in the mood to drink quicker than a reference to "blood".

I'm not a big fan of this type of beer but once in a great while it's nice to change things up.

Oof - this is my last of the early December (2nd) bottlings, I think. Need to scour cellar to make sure. Bummer though about no pig. Need to restock soon with some RR.
    Cheers!

I just realized that the average ABV of today's lineup is 10.5%... Oh well, bring it on!

Clowder, a spiced, fruited Sour from English brewery Wander Beyond.

This is quite dominated by distinct, hot and spicy notes of chilli and ginger, with the sweet pineapple, zesty lime and underlying tartness providing a good counterpoint and smoothing things out somewhat though.

Dankful IPA. Looks to me like this storm is starting to wind down a bit. I would guess we get about 8 inches of snow here when all is said and done - no complaints on my behalf. It's frigid out so cleaning this stuff up with the wind blowing is going to suck.

Vegetable chili is on for dinner ...

I joked about it, then saw it happen. San Francisco 49ers fans, full Edward Pliny hands at Lambeau Field. Incredible!

Not bad at all but so sweet, it's gonna take at least 2 hours to drink. Sugarwood Baklava from Boulevard, barrel-aged imperial brown ale with maple syrup and pecan flavor. Cheers!!

Brothership Inhazion IPA (100% Citra). Citra IPA's are a dime a dozen nowadays, but well-executed ones are not. This one absolutely falls into that category. Big ripe passionfruit, ruby red grapefruit flesh and pith, navel orange, some lemon, some lychee, earthy dankness, pine. Bright hop character without getting too juicy with a semi-dry and pleasant bitter finish.

I love it, it’s going to be what I miss the most about the apartment once we finally get a house. There is also a 1 mile-ish walking path alongside a creek.
