Holy crap, this is amazing. Bet they all sound awesome and so very different. I’ve heard recordings of the mahogany, but never played it. Obviously the mics and what not can make it sound awesome, but something about it tells me it’s the real deal. You know vastly more about it all than I do, so it’s cool to see it in your collection. Salute!

 

Those are definitely whole-wheat pancakes all flat and life less but good for you. Like most things good for you

Time to go to the darkside with another new one for me. Just finished a review 3.53 (3.50 - 3.74 = Good) final score but could be higher for many folks. From my review: Sweet dark roasted malt, a bit like black coffee with some sugar and a bit of black licorice on the end. The licorice note might be the negative for me since I am not a big fan.

You are right. In the past I did I post wine picks but I was justifyingly admonished for posting them. I do not own this friend so I do want the rules say.

Sitting in a booth at the virtual bar with @mschrei, watching the Royale Rumble. Drinking another IIIPA. I just hope I can don't ruin my trip to Central Waters Brewing tomorrow morning. I may just need to eat more herring with peanut butter. @MattyG85, I was initially not fond of this song, but now it is one of my favorite Dark Funeral songs!

I used to work for a company based in Kenosha. Went up the a couple times a year. Man you are some hardy folks up there!

Cheers! Yeah mahog is warm & dark sounding FTMP and maple, esp w/out re-rings is brighter with a distinctive 'snap'. But yeah there are a lot of variables and brass rims/hoops make a HUGE difference in sound as they are usually die cast=no seam and are like a chime.

 

Split a 2018 Founders Curmudgeon’s Better Half with my wife, paired with dishes of good quality Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream, and Macademia nuts, all in front of a wood-burning fireplace. Four inches of snow outside, but warm inside.

 

You had to go do that while I am drinking a dark beer. That looks scrumptious.

Aha, I have some little mini eclairs in the freezer, time to take them out along with a porter.

Alas, the Pork is done and tender it is. Can you see how much bone is showing? I have been doing quality control for the past hour and more, hahaha.
