Live very close to Notch (under 2 miles) love their beer and wanted to support them.

Went last night, started off with full liter of Session Pils!

Appreciate all the feedback and Notch fandom. I received a membership invite and am mulling over the value proposition.

As a regular patron at Notch Brighton, they will continue to get my business . . . membership or not.

    Na zdrowie!

Broke my Krug in today. Grabbed some pizza and the family and hung out and played Jenga (well except for the preteen that was buried in their phone). First time doing stuff inside as a family since the before times. Was honestly great to be out doing something "normal."

Beers were great too. And Notch was hopping on a Saturday!

I thought it interesting that the sign at the entrance to Speedway says no outside food. Obviously that is not the current policy; I wonder if it will be on the future?

Yeah, at some point there’s supposed to be restaurants. But taking forever for anything to open. My girlfriend and I brought in salads from Fiorellas Express in Oak Sq last night (highly recommend for salads and pizza for anyone cutting through Newton/Brighton to get to Notch). It was great. We did the same for my birthday in December, brought in stacks of pizzas and people drank for hours. I hope it continues but I’m sure it won’t.

Hmmm, we may have crossed paths. Any chance you were the family I flagged down to tell you to take our table, as the wife and I were leaving in 2 minutes?

I read “broke my Krug…” and was like, that sucks. Glad it turned out well.

    Happy to do so.
Also, we seemed to be having the same type of day as your family (pizza, breaking in the krug) but we left our teenager at home with a list of chores!
It was nice to have a “normal” afternoon, made even better by a 1L of Tenner.

Don't think I saw @ljkeats or @cskollmann but I met @AlcahueteJ for the first time. Broke in my krug with a Polotmavy (Jedenatcka). Had a half of Vienna and the Sticke Alt too. About to crack a Standard at home.

If anyone is looking for a good dinner spot near Notch Brighton, Rail Stop by the comm rail/Warrior ice arena is real solid. Mix of higher end entrees and sandwiches (crispy chicken rules). But they usually have some good taps: Fiddlehead, Pseudo Sue, Bunker Machine pils, and Startline Hop Load Hazy. And Flatbread is also great for pizza and beers too.

Oh woe is me, the sneakers we bought the kiddo yesterday are a little too small. Looks like I need to go back to the New Balance outlet and exchange for a half size up.
Anyone know of a spot near there to grab a beer?
Might try that crispy chicken sandwich @EnronCFO suggested, as we did Flatbread pizza yesterday.

My girlfriend has some dietary restrictions and Brato makes no attempt to accommodate. I like their food but the beer just hasn’t improved much.

Same! Broke my Krug in with a liter of Tenner.

Super nice to finally put a name to the face! I'm sure we'll see each other many more times.

Very nice to meet both you and your friend. I don't think the Kranz was necessary, but it was my roommate's birthday, and the first time I met you...so a celebratory Kranz was in order!

Did the same for @EnronCFO for his 40th when my buddy came down from NH to visit...so it's a "bad" habit of mine.

Sidebar: Is everyone going to use the keychain as their regular keychain? A part of me thinks it's really cool, the other part of me doesn't want to risk losing it...

    Na zdraví!!!

I am currently using it as my regular keychain but that might change. I am worried about losing the key which is why I just attached it to my home key. We'll see.

    OK -
I attached both, the key and the Lukr key chain thingy to my house keys. (place of honor next to Lego Chewbacca). I figure that's one way to always keep track of it.

Check your emails Krug clubbers. Notch surprised by the high Eventbrite fee as well. Next liter steinkrug is on them as an apology. Awesome gesture.

I'll give Notch credit. They always do their best to keep their customers happy. Would love to eliminate a few of these missteps but it happens and they always step up after the fact. And I'll keep supporting them.
