There's definitely been some challenges with the box, some understandable frustration, and many of us (including me) are eagerly waiting for our box while we watch others enjoy theirs (don't give up hope, we're still within the two week shipping window!), but I just wanted to thank all of you for your patience, understanding, and support. I do these boxes for you, the BeerAdvocate community. They've been a ton of fun, introduced BA to new beer geeks, given us something positive to look forward to over the last two years, and connected us through discussion, education, and casual hangouts. I hope to do more, so long as you want me to do more. Thanks, everyone!

Todd, these boxes are awesome. Have I loved every beer? No, but I’m not just paying for the beer, I’m also paying for the experience of trying something new, the convenience of having it show up on my doorstep, the camaraderie of posting/reading others’ posts, and so on. They’re just a LOT of fun. I’m definitely a buyer if you keep putting these together.
Two excellent beers in and if I never opened another I'd still be completely satisfied...that being said I'm looking forward to the other 10. Cheers to you, the site, HTB and the brewing partners who participated. I am definitely recommending this to others and looking forward to future releases.

I want you to do more Keep them coming! I bought 2 out of 3 boxes. Passed on the IPA one because I had too many of those beers. The others ones have been awesome!

Thank you Todd for all the trouble to get us these boxes, and also for putting up with the complaints about the boxes. I have tried beers I would not buy if I saw them in a store- it's nice to see what's out there and the concoctions that these breweries are coming up with. Like many others, I am also looking forward to the next one!
Same as the above, it's great to get a special delivery, have an impetus for trying new things and learn more. The problems were nothing from this perspective. Thanks for the work.
Mine finally arrived yesterday, but the delay was no fault of Half Time. FedEx was just up to its usual shenanigans. The routing it took and on 2 different occasions spending more than an entire day in a single location caused it to take 3 days longer than it should have. But it did arrive in more or less good shape. The packing was solid, so the couple of punctures in the outer box didn't get anywhere near the beers. Stout Month is in full-swing in CO and the local breweries are putting out some amazing sounding stouts, so it might actually take me a month to get to anything in the box. But I do look forward to starting on it.
Keep 'em coming, Todd! If left to my own devices, I'll fall into an IPA/Stout rut. The Extreme Beer Box forced me to step outside my comfort zone and try things I'd NEVER buy otherwise. And offering the Box before revealing what was in it was a stroke of genius! (OK, maybe you didn't know either, but it was still a clever way of getting us trusting souls to spring for a "black box" that just might expand our beer horizons a bit.) I'll definitely be a participant in any future Extremities that BA offers!
Thank you for all the time and effort you put into creating these boxes @Todd. Super psyched that mine arrived at my brother-in-laws place and eagerly anticipating getting my hands on it and enjoying the beers. Keep the boxes coming, great way to get some otherwise unattainable beers to try.
A huge thank you for the time and effort. Looked forward to it all year. So far not disappointed in anything in the box (all the fruited sours to date). Probably would never sample these (never had a fruited sour before extreme beer fest) or the specialty east coast brewers otherwise.

First time I've ordered something like this and so far am very pleased after trying some of the beers. It's hard to find these types of beers near me (not that I'd even know which ones to buy if they were available), so it's nice to be able be able to buy a loaded box like this. Looking forward to the next one. Would love to see an IPA or Stout specific extreme-ish kind of box, but I'm interested in seeing what you guys come up with next.
