This is such an excellent beer, @JayORear. Damn. I am thankful. I got the headphones on. Yeah, I'm not singing about you, girl. All these words were meant for IPA. Peace...

My guess is I will not find it in Richmond. If I did though, I would definitely buy it!

Yeah. I have my doubts on this remake as well. The original is one of my all time faves though. I remember continually renting the VHS from our local mom & pop video store in the 80s.

    Legend.

Mexico's the place my friend. Trust me the whole place isn't violent. Find a cool spot that only has an open air drug market. Won't be much different then anywhere in the USA. Except the cost of living will be 1/2. And the food, women, and atmosphere will be better.

It has been awhile but family and I took a few cruises with stops in Mexico. With just one exception we all had a great time. I even learned about which Dos Equis beer was imported to the USA and which was not.

Move to Mexico? I have to give that some thought.

Thanks! My sister "appropriated" this one from a beer bar outside of Boston. It's one of my faves for a 12oz bottle or can.

Hey TC, in retrospect not as much as I wished I had. When I was getting ready to go into the Army in 1981 he talked quite a bit about being an Army Chaplin in WW2 and spending time in Europe. He was not a fan of the red cross or Eisenhower, for whatever reason. He was born in 1908 and my mom 1918.....it was almost like a skipped generation. The year I turned 40 they turned 80 & 90.....and lived to 94 & 96....cheers!

    No, you’re cool.
Can you believe my father had 11 brothers and sisters. Grandpa was a country doctor,, patients paid bills in bushels of apples and corn. It was the depression. All my uncles were in either WW2 or Korea,,, my uncle Dick was WW2, And Korea. All aunts and uncles were best of friends, big Irish, and legendary fun people… those days in the 60s 70s 80s could never be repeated. My mom’s dad died in a tuberculosis asylum and my grandmother , exceptionally proper, rose from widowed to founding a real estate company in the 50s… crazy!

    I agree with you,, fascinating

my dad was 1928, mom 1936
