Makes me sad dude. I grew up never worrying about gun violence. Sadly it is becoming commonplace.

Yeaah I hear that. Can't really be worse than doing random doordashes in the ice in times where people are stressed, weed is legal, and guns are more abundant and everybody is paying attention to their phones while driving. I like doing them though. Cause when I get takeout later I use the money I made to pay for it and then get weed and taco Bell/Chipolte or both because they're both across the street. I don't know is a healthy lifestyle like my new years resolution called for.

Nice! If you watched any of the Barrett Jackson last weekend the "muscle car era" cars are going for crazy money. David Spades restored 1966 Nova went for over $225,000.....I've had my 91LX since 1994.....Cheers!!

Happy Monday. Fairly busy day. Bought all 4 Arthur C Clark space odyssey series books off the internet last night. I was reading Without Remorse for 2 hours trying to wind down to sleep. It's getting saucy now. Only 300 pages to go. All Clancy books are long as hell to read. I average 10-15 pages an hour on almost every title of his I've read, in hardcover or paperback

We got back from the Gym and my squats actually feel proper now, so I am comfortable upping the weight next week. It only took a month to not suffer from DOMS for a whole week after leg day. I still need to help Julia with her workouts, because she has not been hitting target HR. I did 10 minutes of intense cardio before lifting. Pretty much my main routine now. That and barbell lifts. She is making this recipe which is a copy of a youtube video I saw the other day. https://gimmedelicious.com/creamy-chicken-fajita-pasta/

Bells Song of the Open Road. 2 years old bottling. Awesome Winter warmer. Murky pour with great head retention and soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big caramel, brown sugar, brown bread/crust, toasted biscuit, nuts, raisin, fig, date, mint, wood, peppercorn, citrus peel/rind, pine, light coffee/roast, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Slight touch of vanilla and molasses after the finish. Light-moderate pine, citrus rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery, roasted bitterness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation and medium-full body; balanced creamy/bready malts, sticky hops, and some resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Moderate increasing resin dryness, no cloying/astringent flavors. Mild increasing warmth of 8.5%. Very smooth, and outstanding take on an English style example. It feels like US and UK hops (Chinook and Fuggle?) With a nice complex malt backbone and some fruity English yeast that isn't overwhelming. Aged like a champ, as I expected. This is very similar to Deschutes Jubelale, which I prefer with a couple years on it as well. 4.1

New band found from last.fm. This is an Icelandic band that's a bit like Fleshgod Apocalypse. Tech Death with classical influences. Pretty outstanding

Rendezvous with Rama is another good one from Clarke. Must be too hard to film as it seems like it would be perfect for a movie or miniseries.

Sounds like what my own kids are doing. No kids until late fourties.

My mom had four babies before she was 30. Three of them turned out well.. The fourth, yours truly, not so much.

Yes that one was on my list from a while back when I got interested in reading again. Julia hasn't read it either, but she already read all the odyssey books. I'm sure she will revisit the series when I get it. I convinced her to read some Clancy soon to see if she likes it. Without Remorse is quite a unique story line for a Clancy novel.

Wow, that’s so interesting,,, I was just telling my kids the very real Cold War anxiety of the eighties, my kids say they worry about school shootings, not any international stuff.
I read that when Chernobyl exploded Russians Stationed in Forrest bases completely thought Americans attacked because of the radioactive sensors going crazy,,, and they never imagined it could be their own country.

In DE over the weekend helping friends work on their garage bar. Of course, whenever we're down there I have to see what's new over at Thompson Island. This one is a new T-IPA using some experimental hops = definitely out there on the flavor scale.

Like yeah. But all the cool breweries are moving to abandoned buildings I feel like I should invest. But yeah mexico sounds nice. Was seeing pictures of some guy in Mexico at the bar earlier. I could live there like captain jack Sparrow. Cheers.
