Moving on to something bigger. @tacosandbeer turned me on to this beer when perennial reached CO. Busting out a 2018 sump. It's a smooth beer, subtle, complex. Compared to the juggernaut of a coffee stout I had last night, this is all smooth edges and curves. Working my way through the purchase agreement on the shop, we are in agreement on the dollar amount but miles away on some other stuff. Im stress drinking as a result. Oh well. At least it's not smack.

I grew up in the shadow of Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado Springs. We were still doing duck and cover drills in the 80s, and I remember all the stairwells marked as fallout shelters. Somehow, staring the idea of mutually assured destruction squarely in the eyes, we were still happy.

Got to see those guys when they toured with Penny wise for their war profiteering album release. So glad I had that chance, no other punk show has ever come close.

Worst thing that happened to me in school was getting beat up, ass whopping's build character. I'll take that over the fear of someone shooting up a school any day.

 

I feel for the kids at these schools, but schools have been getting shot up for longer than most people think. The news doesn't care if gangbangers pop off a few shots at each other, but a couple of middle class white kids go loopy and spawn decades of copycats. Go figure.

You mean the Pabst revived Ballantine IPA? That came and went back around 2014-2015.

50¢ or so at any "5 and Dime" type store.

(Hmmm... might be sold out but they pop up regularly at garage sales, flea markets and thrift stores. I think they were also sold filled with wax as candles at one point - clean well before using ).
